Who am I?

Officially awarded my PhD entitled: Citizenship and the Deaf Community, July 2007

A British Sign Language (BSL) version of the entire thesis has been completed and I am currently seeking a publisher (as at August 2009).

Current employment: Early Careers Fellow at the University of Bristol, based at the Centre for Deaf Studies; post began October 1st 2008 (previously Research Associate at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland UK, from June 2006 to September 2008).

I am Deaf, bilingual in British Sign Language (BSL) and English; and have some understanding of Irish Sign Language and International Sign.
